Does anyone own a chrysler pacifica?

I have an '05, we purchased new in '06. It's has the larger engine in it & the larger wheels. Handles great & it has a lot of pep! Love it! It has 6000 miles on it & so far, I haven't one problem with it. Oil change is the only service it's needed.

It came with almost everything I wanted. The front seats are heated & 8 way adjustable. Leather interior, 6 disc cd changer, dvd player. What it didn't have was the power lift gate. We thought we could have them install it later & they said it couldn't be done. That is the one thing I really wish I had on it. I'm pretty short 5'2" & there isn't a handle to grab to pull it down. It's rather tough to do.

Another endorsement. We purchased a loaded brand new 2006 last August. While the gas mileage could be better, after almost 10K miles love everything else about the vehicle and have had no problems whatsoever (I've heard on web auto sites that most of the previously mentioned "bugs" in the 04 and 05 models were resolved in the 06 line).

I have a friend that had one for 2 weeks. In the 2 weeks, it was in the shop 3 times (I don't know why)!!! The 3rd time they asked if the dealership still had their van they traded in? Just wanted that back - of course they didn't. They gave them all of their money back and they bought a used Honda.

I would normally not know anything about cars BUT I will say that the week of March 4th my DS and 24 college students traveled to Miami Beach for Spring Break to meet up with and work with the Habitat for Humanity organization.

The rented 4, 2007 CP's! My DS was the designated driver for one of them. Sometime during the week he called home as the students were all stopped to get ice cream and he was waiting in the car which at that point said....
"I have to tell you, Mom, these cars we have rented this week are awesome!"...he then proceeded to tell me the name of it CP and I looked it up online and it does look like a lovely car. The style they were all driving was like an SUV. He said the GPS system was awesome. The ride was smooth and comfortable, just all in all a really nice car.

So that is my .02cents on that subject.
