Does anyone only stay at the S/D ?

Just wondering what people like so much about the S/D ?

My DH likes the Dolphin. I like the Beach Club.
Does anyone only stay at the Dolphin - or Swan ?

I guess the rate can be lower with AP or AAA.
We can not get the nurse/teacher rates.

But no day bed.

The pool is not bad at the S/D - SAB (Y/BC) is better but the Grotto pool is fine.

Location for the BC & Dolphin are about the same - within 200 yards.
Boardwalk available to both.

I was debating trying a different place this year (we stayed at the Swan last year and LOVED it!), but I kept thinking about how wonderful our stay was and how convenient the location is. The pool was awesome! We were swimming at 11:00 at night! To be honest, if I couldn't have gotten a discount, we couldn't afford to stay there, but first I was able to get the allears discount of $169.50, then the teacher rate became available for our dates, so that lowered it to $149. We are SO happy to be going back!

Yep--we ONLY stay at the S/D.

We have stayed at a few different Disney resorts in the past. I learned my lesson, when, while staying at AKL, my kids said they "wish we were staying there, instead" as we passed S/D one day (they had stayed at both, previously).

We just prefer S/D, just as you prefer the Beach Club.
