Does anyone NOT like the Hoop Dee Doo Review?

I've heard nothing but great things about this show. I just watched a FEW short clips on "YouTube." Although I know I got only a very small taste from the clips - it really looked kind of annoying. It seemed that the actors were screaming a lot and it seemed kind of "cheesy." It must be a great show - right? I mean, 2 TS credits, lots of great reviews? I'm not very hard to impress with a dinner show-nothing like live entertainment. But I just thought I would ask if there are folks out there who aren't so entertained by the HDDR.

I'm wondering if we should wait until our next trip when my (barely) 2 year old will be older.

I know plenty of people love this kind of thing, but you would have to pay me to go and sit through it. This just isn't the kind of thing our family likes. But we also are the kind of family that won't go to WCC either.

If I were you, I would wait. We took DD 9 and DD5. DD9 LOVED it, she was laughing so hard. It cracked the two of us up. Now DD5, could care less. She absolutely did not get the show. I would say, wait it out. The show is not that good to justify the cost.

Thanks, my DD (7) would HATE Whispering Canyon (not really my thing either) and we've already ruled it out. I guess I didn't realize that HDDR would be similar in the style of show. Yes, I know "hoop dee doo" sounds lively and fun but I didn't get that it might be so wild. I'll probably replace that ADR for something else we wanted & wait a while.
