We usually go down in March, but have decided this year to do a December trip. When we went last March I ended up stalking the Jet Blue website and calling for the difference in price anytime it dropped from what I paid. The result was about 200.00 pp. We still have 3 days worth of park hoppers left from a vacation a few years ago.
We are planning to start trying to have another baby and I could be really pregnant in March. Since the airfare and park tickets are covered we figured that if we went during value season (mid-December) we could stay at the POLY for less than a trip would cost us to stay moderate in March (airfare from Boston to Orlando is a lot pricier in March too).
I used to live in Orlando so I have seen the Disney Holiday decorations many times. Then I always loved it.
Now, I'm back to being a New Englander through and through and I love my Disney vacations as an escape from winter. I like the palm trees and the tropical feel. I know the weather can be quite warm in December, but I guess what I am asking is...
Do any of you feel the holiday decorations take away from the Disney feel and magic to you or do you think it just enhances it?
