I didn't purchase travel insurance. But after reading all of the unexpected incidents, I am reconsidering. A company called CSA seems to offer the best quotes for a family of three, they came in under $70. Anyone heard of this company? Are they okay? I really didn't want to spend too much, rather spend on "bingo"! I got this figure from insuremycruise.com.

The largest online cruise travel specialist uses this company for trip insurance. We have used them for many cruises. Luckily we have never had to make a claim, but from reading the policy it seems pretty inclusive. There is no pre-existing clause as long as you pay for the insurance by the time you make final payment on your trip. Also, they cover for cancellation related to terrorist or war type things occuring within (I believe) 30 days of your visit to any port. Another thing is that they cover for cancellation if anyone in your party has to cancel. This is good if you are going with a group of friends or family since if anyone linked to your group can't go, you are covered for cancelling as well. Of course, don't take my word on these specifics. You can read the policy online at CSA's site.
