if I can purchase tickets to MVMCP online or over the phone for either 12/16 or 12/18? Was planning to buy them there (if still available and DD wanted to go) for the 3 of us, but am now going solo so wanted to go ahead and get my ticket now.

I know MVMCP Tickets can be purchased over the phone....I did that back in June. I don't think you can buy them on the web.
Since your trip is coming very soon, you may want to mention that if you call to order your ticket. Maybe they can leave your ticket at your destination hotel. (It took 2 weeks for my tickets to come in the mail, so that doesn't leave you much time.)

I bought mine online through Disney's site... there are a couple different shipping options as well as a will call option which lets you pick up the tickets at WDW
