I've heard that if you buy a Wal-Mart giftcard you can use it at Sam's Club even if you are not a member. Is this true??? I had a Sam's membership 2 years ago, but they didn't take coupons so BJ's won. If the giftcard can be used at Sam's, I'll buy them and go occasionally.

The GC's I got had Wal-Mart and Sam's Club printed on the front.

Here's what it says in the back:
"Use of this card constitutes acceptance of the following terms: This card can be used for purcahses of merchandise at any retail format of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in the United States or puerto Rico. This card cannot be redeemed for cash except in those states which require redepmtion for cash. Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced without original receipt. After 24 months of non-use, a service fee of $1.00 per month will begin to be deducted from the remaining balance of the card."

I have used mine at Sam's Club before, but we are members, so I am not sure how that goes? It says on the front of the card Walmart and Sams Club...

I just got in from Wal Mart getting redemptions for the site, and I asked. You can use them at Sam's and get a 1 day shopping pass if you are not a member. This is cool!!! Sam's is a nice change from BJ's sometimes as they have a different variety.

I have never been to BJ's...is it nice?? I have been to Cosco though and that was kind of cool...only ever went once with my Mom..she likes it there..

BJ's is your typical warehouse club, just like Sam's and Cosco. Prices are good for bulk, plus they take coupons. I still find good deals at the grocery stores, I shop around. With 3 kids, it does come in handy to buy in bulk.

Looks like there are two in Orlando.

I've never been to BJ's because there aren't any around here. And our Sam's club is awful (the WORST parking lot I've ever seen)! There's a Cosco about 30 min. away from us, but I've never been there, either.

Anyway, there's also a Super Wal-Mart in Kissimmee--supposedly ~7 miles away from Disney. We stopped there this past trip before heading into Disney. Picked up 6-packs of water and Pepsi (24oz. bottles) for $2.50 each.
