I downloaded some digital stamp images, printed them, colored them in with Prismacolor pencils, and then used a blender to shade. If I got too close to the printed lines, the blender picked up some of the black.

I read that some people spray the image with "fixative" before coloring. I have searched where I can, but what is "fixative"? And where can I buy it?

Anyone have experience with it and can give tips/hints?

* NOTE: Oh, in case it matters, I have a B&W laser printer and a color laser printer. I use both printers for my crafting.

Thanks!

Any kind of clear coat spray will work. Krylon makes one and I'm sure there are 'scrapping' specific acid free ones.

Thanks Linda. I looked up Krylon and they make a few. Next time I go shopping, I know what to look for now.
