If glow sticks travel okay on airplanes? Does the pressure make them burst, or anything? I bought a bunch to bring with us, but then I wondered...

Also, the package comes as a little cardboard tube (like a little poster tube). Do you think that would show up funny on the xray machines? We'll be checking them in, but I would hate to have our luggage held up because our glow sticks looked suspicious...


I know I'm kinda paranoid, but...

We carried several in our checked luggage back in August with no issues.

We checked them from SEA to Orlando with no problems last year. But to be safe I always double baggie my liquids.

don't be surprised if they open your bag,they opened mine last june and I even kept my lock off,it could've been from my pennies though.

For our last few trips we carried glow sticks in our bags, well in our actual Luggage (Not carry on). We have never had any issues. Good luck with yours
