Does anyone know why we received a gift from Shutters?

On Friday we returned to our stateroom to find a packet of pictures from Shutters. They are of Mickey, a few of the ship, both ships, etc. We do not know why we received these. We asked at Shutters and they didn't know what we were talking about. We asked our stateroom host and he told us they were given to us because we are special people.

Has anyone else ever received a gift like this?

Good for you, yes those pics are very expensive.

You get one free with the frame (8 x 10) size if you purchase five of the 8 x 10's.

Otherwise, you got a very nice surprise!

You were probably selected as "Family of the Week" by Shutters. We were once selected as the "Family of the Week" by Dining Services. This is a selection that each department makes and presents the stateroom family with gifts.

Our family also received a Mystery bottle of champagne that was in the room when returned from Castaway Cay. It was a great way to start the evening after being hot on the beach all day. We have no idea who sent this to us. The other two bottles we received all had notes with them.

We were chosen as family of the week too, but I didn't realize that different "departments" each chose families. We received very nice snacks in our room, so I suppose we were chosen by Dining Services. It was really special!

So you have a Magic friend who leaves things in your cabin? Well maybe its because they know what nice people you are.
I wish we could have sailed together this time but I am looking forward to your trip report, don't make it too long as we are leaving on Thursday for our cruise. Hope you had a great time.

When we got our picture taken at embarkation, the photographer gave me a little white slip of paper that was for a raffle. I filled it out and we won! We got 2 family 8x10s that we had to pick out at shutters and the same packet of pictures showed up in our room - 1 with the characters on Castaway Cay, and 1 of the ship with the Captain's autograph.

We almost forgot to enter the raffle, but my daughter reminded me just before the deadline.
