Does anyone know where I can order a kit for the no-sew fleece throws?

I know how to make one, but it's WAY too expensive for me to buy the material separately. I heard that they have the kits at Wal-Mart for $8 - they DID. All of them within 100 miles from me are out and not getting any more in. I checked their website to no avail.

If anyone has any suggestions of where to order this, I will be most grateful.

I have just tried my hand at making the no sew fleece scarves for my girls. Super easy. I bought the rotary cutter but drew the line at spending ~$40 for the mat, DH cut me a large piece of the backer board that you use for wall tile. It works great. BTW, beware of the rotary cutter, in showing DD9 how not to touch the blade I drew my index finger across it, yep, sliced it open, LOL. I just cut the sides even, then put a yard stick approximately where I wanted the fring and used the rotary to cut it. Kids think I'm the greatest. We were in Gatlinburg TN yesterday, they wanted $13.00 for the same wxact scarf that I made for <$3.00.

My DD is in college and her "Winter Guard" is making 4ply fleece scarves...as a fun raiser...I just thought I'd share them with you.

that is one laid out on her dorm room floor and here is one she is modeling!

She said they(8-10 girls) would get together every Sunday and make about 30 or so of them....to sell on campus as a fundraiser for $12.00 each..so far they have sold a ton....along with bringing some home during the Thanksgiving break to all their moms to sell for them!!!

I don't know what type of kit you are speaking of but this is what I did: I made two racing theme throws for my DS's and did not bind them or hem the edges and they have not frayed. They have also been washed numerous times and still no frays. My total labor was to cut the fabric into two throws of equal size, then I was done!
