Although I don't know them at all, it is once again the case of an immigrant (Vietnamese) family with a child joining our military. Obviously, a proud family.
The fellow who put the flag over the face of Saddam's statue is the son of Burmese immigrants. I also heard that when President & Mrs. Bush visited the injured troops today, they served as witnesses to the swearing in of two or three of them as U.S. citizens. How special to have the President preside at becoming a citizen....and since they've shed blood for us already they are among our best citizens.
