OKW studios are 390 sq ft, all the other WDW DVC studios are 356 sq ft. At least according to my POS. The AKV studios you mentioned are for the converted lodge rooms. The standard and deluxe rooms. I haven't seen numbers on the new building yet.
Thanks to everyone for the info. Can I assume that the Jambo House Value is the 8 pts in Dec. and the Jambo house regular is the 9 points or does it just go by the view?
Jambo (the existing AKL) will be the only building open with DVC rooms in Dec. Standard studio at 9 points will essentially be pool or parking lot view (or at Kadani when finished a view of the front road area or its pool), i.e., "Standard" defines a view. Values at 8 points can be same view as standard view or savannah view; Value is the smaller rooms, i.e., Value defines a room size not a view. How many of either will be available in December is not known but it will be limited. The new Kidani building is not expected to be finished until early 2009. It will not have any Value rooms. In fact, if anyone is considering buying, he should seriously consider doing so based on the points needed for Savannah view (non-value rooms) because the vast majority of rooms at both buildings will be Savannah view point cost and, like standard view at BWV, those value and standard point cost rooms will likely be gone early in the 11 month window for any given dates.

By "regular" studio I meant anything that is not a value studio, i.e., standard view, savanna view or concierge.
The villa categories are a bit confusing at AKV. The value category includes the studio, 1BR and 2BR villas that were created by converting the smaller standard-sized AKL rooms into villas. They cost fewer points because they are smaller units and in the case of the 1BR villas, the value 1BRs sleep 4 whereas the non-value 1BRs will sleep 5.
The standard, savannah view and concierge villas are larger than the value villas. As drusba described, for standard and savannah view the names describe the view you will have. The concierge studios will overlook either the Sunset savannah or the pool area. In this category, you are paying for access to concierge services and the lounge and are not guaranteed a savannah view. In fact, from what I've read the savannah view is somewhat restricted by the roof below those units.
