Penske usually offers a AAA rate/discount (proof of membership is reqiured).

And, from someone who has moved a lot, I will take Penske's trucks over U-Haul any day of the week!

I used Budget to move from Atlanta to DC. They were about half the price of UHaul and much easier to deal with. Don't know of any coupon codes, though.

We rented a ryder truck on our last move around a year ago. From what I remember it was around $50 for the weekend..free mileage but we returned it to the place we got it from. The rate we got was actually for a day but they were closed on Sunday so the guy told us that they wouldn't KNOW if we returned it Saturday night or Sunday just as long as it was in the lot on Monday when they opened. Saved us a ton since our last budget rental was astronomical.

Thanks Dis'ers I knew you would be able to help me!! Penske and the AAA discount saves quite a bit $120 off the rental and $71 off a tow bar if we decide to tow the car. Making it Cheaper than Budget.
