I am visiting WDW in 6/11-6/21 how are the crowds and weather? Are the wait times for the rides long during that time of year?

Thanks
Lilly

I believe the crowds start to get a lot bigger during this time. Traditionally, they say once mid-June comes along it's a lot more crowded. We went in early June last year and it was really hot. Have lots of sunscreen and water with you. We did fine last year by planning which park to be at each day(we avoided EMH). The only real crowds that were a problem were at MK on the Sunday of Memorial Weekend and the Tuesday after.

I was there last year at the exact same time. It was very hot and humid with thunderstorms every afternoon. We had just returned from Mexico and my friend stated that she thought that it was more humid in Orlando that it was in Mexico. It was crowded for us, we usually go at very slow times of the year. The wait was about 1 hour or more on popular rides. We would use FP or ride rides such as Tot or RnR near closing time and had a very short wait. The storms seemed longer than the typical Florida afternoon thunderstorm, many people would go back to the resorts. If you can stick it out, the parks were almost empty for about an hour after the storms.

Very crowded and hot. Long lines, so you will need to use FP a lot. Many of the popular rides will have wait times of well over an hour. If you are staying onsite, use the EMH as much as you can.

We were at Disney the 3rd week of July last year. I figured the heat/rain/crowds would be about the same as the 3rd week in June which is when we plan to go this year. Am I wrong?

very hot and very crowded! sunscreen, sunglasses, hats and patience :) We've been in June a few times...just expect it to be hot and crowded, then you won't get frustrated. The worst is to be caught off guard. Go to parks early, plan some breaks to sit and relax and watch the crowds during the heat of the day, use fast pass, etc. It's still Disney World....fun, fun!
