Does anyone know if Typhoon Lagoon will be closed in December 2007? [more....}

Hi there...I hope someone can help me out...Everytime we go to Disney in December [every 2-3 years]...Typhoon lagoon is ALWAYS closed...We still haven't been able to go there in all the times we have been to Disney. Does anyone know if they alternate every year between Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach and how far in advance you can find out if it will be closed?

Any help you can give me ...I'll appreciate it..Thanks..

Not sure about Typhoon Lagoon, but I'm sure that River country will be closed!!

I'm not sure how they do it but they must not alternate because we were there in December 04 and only BB was open. We will be back this year and I noticed that only TL is open. I'm glad because we haven't been there yet and I thought we weren't going to get a chance! I'm not sure how far ahead they post the refurb list but just keep an eye out!

BB has been closed in early December the last three years, then when it reopens--usually between the 10th and the 23rd--TL will close until February or March.

It has been a while (2002 to be exact) since TL closed first.

Water park closings are usually announced some time in the spring.

According to the WDW web site, Blizzard Beach closes on 10/29/06 and re-opens on 1/7/07. Typhoon Lagoon will close on 1/7/07 and reopens sometimes in late Feb. or early March.

Not sure if the same schedule will apply for 2007.
