Does anyone know if MK typically closes for capcity on the 4th?

I am thinking of heading over for the fireworks. Just wondering if we will get in. Anyone know if it closes for capacity on the 4th or is that genrally just a Christmas thing.

I don't remember hearing of it closing to capacity other than Christmas and New Year's Eve, but I could be wrong. I'd check at the Theme Parks forum.

I don't think so. But then the last fourth I spent at Epcot and had a wonderful time. Especially since I maximized time at the American Pavillion and they had a nice ceremony there after lunch.

If it does it usually around fireworks. Yes it's very busy but nowhere near the madhouse of Christmas and New Years.

And trying to get into the Poly is next to impossible.

I was at MK once during Fourth of July. I don't know if it reached capacity, but I can tell you that it was CRAZY crowded. My husband and I were eating lunch upstairs at Columbia Harbor House just watching the line for Haunted Mansion grow longer and longer. The only ride we went on was Hall of Presidents because the line were just too long. Maybe you should try EPCOT instead.

Hey sometimes it will 3 or 4ish for just a bit until it clears up a bit. If you want to see the 4th of July stuff and still get in then go on the 3rd. It will still be really crowded but not quite as bad as the 4th. That is what we have done the last couple of years. They do the same fireworks the 3rd and 4th.

I believe it often reaches SOME level of closure. Usually at least a Phase 2, which means the parking lots are closed and tickets are no longer sold.
