Does anyone know how to get a license?

I finished the Autopia quest and got car magic but it says I need a drivers license too please help

I tried a half dozen times, finally I was able to pick up some gas cans i got three and it gave me the license. The funny thing is there were 3 on the track and some girl and I went for the same can, it looked like we crashed just then they awarded me the license. So it is just like the local DMV - they will give it to anyone.

Watch for the gas cans and pick them up. Once they show up, it's easy -- you only need 2 or 3 cans.

Very annoying when they don't show up, and you get booted off the track, to await the magic pin recharge before you can try again.
