Does anyone know how to flatten a stomach using GIMP2?

Sounds more like something you would do with liquify in photoshop. Don't know anything about gimp though.

What defines a rounded shape, such as a tummy, is shadow. Reduce the shadows and you reduce the roundness. I have not looked at GIMP for years but the controls seemed similar to PS, dodging tools may be the best bet for lightening shadows.
