I've GOT to get more veggies into myself, and my family, and have been researching juicing them. Any real life experiences out there? TIA!

I have blended carrots.. you can make a smoothie with fruit in it and and instead of a fruit juice like apple or raspberry coktail you could add carrot juice..

i have also blended wheat grass. it will take a lot of wheatgrass to make an ounce so i would stick with the carrots..

I find that you cannot taste the carrots if that is what you are getting at. I have not heard of any other veggies being juiced though.. Hope it helps

I have juiced vegetables before. Let me tell you it was pretty disgusting! I've done carrots, kale, spinach, celery, etc. If there is a way to mix it into some fruit juice I would do that.

What type of juicer are you using? I'm not fond of having to dismantle something into a million pieces to wash it;) I figure I can force down almost anything if mixed with fruit to mask it!

you may want to try v8 v-fusion. it's in the juice aisle, and it has a full serving of fruit and veggies per 8 oz.

I love juicing and always mix veggies in with my fruits. My favorites to put in any juice would be carrots, broccoli and spinach. I've also used asparagus in the past, just because I had it laying around. If you really want to kill the taste of them I find pineapple covers it up pretty well. :thumbsup2
