My sister gets their steaks, but there is a store near here, so she doesn't have to pay shipping or anything. She said they are VERY,good, but doesnt know if she would still get them if she had to order them and have them shipped.

My Dad gave us Omaha Steaks for Christmas. The packer made a mistake in giving us 2 boxes of (2)top sirloins instead of 1 box of top sirloin plus 1 box of filet mignon. The customer service sent a replacement box of filet mignon and said to enjoy the extra sirloin.

We have enjoyed Omaha steaks. We usually buy them when we see a good sale, since the regular prices are quite expensive.

Um... You might wanna see a doctor about that...

Oh, and to un-hijack, we used to get Omaha steaks as gifts all the time when I was a kid (Dukes of Hazzard was popular), and they were fabulous.
Had them last year at a relative's house, still fabulous. I agree with the above that they can be pricey, though.

We used to order them two or three times a year. Then they opened stores by us, and we now go there when we need something and they are having a sale. The product is very good, but can also be very pricey (they have great hamburgers too!).

$52 for 6.5 lbs of meat sounds pretty expensive to me, especially since 4 lbs of it is hamburger and chicken.

The baked potato is no added value and neither is the cutlery set, IMO.

I think you'd be better off just going to a good local butcher.

I do order Omaha Steaks. They are consistantly good. I used to get them from one of their stores before we moved. Now I have signed up for emails on the website. I only order when they have free shipping and sales.
