Does anyone have this logo as a large scan, or a nice clear photo? I want to redraw it and this pic is a bit too low res. I will post the results for everybody.

WDW won't throw you in jail, but 99%+ of all Disney stuff is copyrighted and asking DIS to let this go might be a streach, WDW has taken a hard line on some copyright issues in the past.

The DIS has entire forums centered around the sharing of Disney-created images that have been repurposed for shirts, scrapbooks, crafts, etc., so I cannot believe that the DIS would have a concern about me redrawing this logo. As for the Disney company and their copyright, well, copyright exists to protect the merchantability of intellectual property and my use is not undermining sales of, nor replicating the look of, any product of the Disney company, nor am I profiting from the use of their imagery. Frankly, if Disney made large vehicle decals, car magnets, and site signs it would save me a lot of work and I'd happily plunk down my dollars for them. But they don't, and much like a nascar fan with a huge #3 on his vehicle, I want to show my colors... even if I have to make the decals myself. I appreciate you raising your concern and trying to warn of potential trouble, I'm just unclear as to why my request stood out when thousands of similar requests in the DIS designing boards did not (or even the shirt design and rv painting threads here in camping did not). I'm not a I'm an .....

Larry, are you the disney police? Is it hurting you? Shan is doing something nice for the rest of us. He is not making a cent! He has done some really nice stuff already, and I think it is awesome!

Go look at the dis igns forum and take a look around. This goes on all the time, every day, and I am pretty sure that the "dis" approves, considering they have a whole forum for it.
