one of the 1970/80s Star Wars Cake pans by Wilton that they would either sell me or rent me?

My son desperately wants one for his bday, but I can't seem to win the ebay auctions and I'm running out of time to wait through the auction and then for shipping.

I'd be willing to return it (hence, the renting) if you don't want to part with it permanently.

they have an idea for a star wars cake using action figures. They have a banner, cups, plates, and pinata for star wars. Good luck.

Have you talked to the bakery at your grocery store. I know that many will air brush a picture for you on the cake if you bring them a picture of what you want.

Thanks for the action figure idea, that is what I might have to do if I can't get a pan. It might require more creativity than I have though--I'm a frost/design by numbers kind of girl.

Can't stand the cakes from the grocery stores. I have a few bakers in my family and am very picky over how things taste. The grocery stores just don't cut it. We have a couple of good bakeries, but for what they charge, I just can't bring myself to pay it. Not when I can make a cake that tastes just as good for a heck of a lot less money.

Anyone else have a pan???
