Does anyone have "moon shoes"?

I was wondering if any of your children have or have played with the new moon shoes they are selling? My daughter would like a pair for Christmas, but I am worried that they are dangerous Any opinions on this toy would be appreciated!

All four of my kids (4,6,8,10) tried them out in a toy store and all immedieately took them off their christmas list- bogus! don't waste your money on this one.

They look like so much fun!! I thought about them for my DS, but then figured he would use them for a bit, then get sick of them right away (either that, or break his neck the first time on them!)

Not yet, but Santa is bringing a pair for my 8yo. Her friend has some and they have a blast on them. She tells me it took a little while to "learn" how to bounce in them, and they only play on them in the grass, because they can slip on hard surfaces.
