Does anyone have issues with red when doing iron transfers?

I was ironing on some transfers last night and I was overall really happy with the results. The exception was when it came to portions of a transfer that were red. The picture looked great after I printed it. But when I went to transfer, the color changed. In some places, all the red color didn't transfer onto the shirt. In others, it took on a brownish hue. This only happened with red, though. The shirts still look good, just not as great as the design looked before I ironed it on.

Has anyone else had issues with this?

Hmm......maybe it's the red shirt. I had this happen as well. I used dark transfer paper and when I ironed the white image with black writing onto the shirt the white background turned redish pink like the shirt........didn't ruin it, but didn't turn out great either..............

I had the same thing happen to me??? I used Navy and white shirts as well but they turned out fine??? I want to try again with the red but wondered if anyone has any suggestions???

When I have overironed, my red has turned brown. I don't know if this would have been your problem or not.
