Does anyone have codes for National AFTER 12/31/03?

I got a free membership to the Emerald club and made reservations for the first week of May for the Emerald Isle. My best rate was using the contract ID and Coupon code at Vacation Outlet: http://www.nationalcar.com/servlet/DocHandler/directlinks/index_vacation_outlet.jsp

This is something I've been wondering about. I also used the DC contract (old one) & coupon #'s for a March, 2004 ressie and, it was accepted. I wonder why these would go through if National didn't intend to honor bookings made on or before 12/31/03 for a future trip/2004?
I was thinking the worst that could happen is that in March, 2004, I may need to pay the coupon discount portion of the rental as it states on the coupon, "expires 12/31/03". BUT...then, I start thinking, I have a printed confirmation, why the heck was it accepted then?
I think I'll call National to see what they say concerning confirmed ressies for car rental dates beyond 12/31/03. I may need to explore another rental car option!

I have asked this question myself on the transportation board about using the "expired" DC code in 2004. When I use this code with National for our April/May2004 trip, it takes almost $100 off the total and is soooo tempting to use. I did call National and asked and was told that if the DC expires then the rate will not be any good. But of course that is what they said last year too and who knows if there will be some kind of extension or grandfather clause or replacement. I have a car booked with AAA rate discount and a DC discount until I hear some feedback here on the boards after Jan 2004.

If they are accepting the DC code on the website, they will not even check it when you get there. As the station mgr. at Orlando said, if the computer takes it, don't worry about it.

Coupons in the 2004 Entertainment book are good through 12/31/04.

They asked for my DC card this month..next February, we won't have them..they will have all expired. So should someone still use the DC code past Dec 31st?
