Does anyone have any idea what my wait list chances might be?

I have a wait list request for a 1 bedroom standard villa at Kidani AKV for May 28 - June 4. I was wondering if any one has an idea of what my chances of getting this request are. I made reservations at OKW but am really hoping Kidani comes through since it is our home resort and we really love it there. If not, we'll stick with OKW and just be glad we're at Disney. What has been everyone's experience with using the wait list? Many thanks for all the input you might have on this.

I think your time covers Memorial Day weekend. We did not have a waitlist come through for a savannah view studio last year in Kidani for that time period, and we went on it sometime in January. We did have a standard view studio booked, so our DF's had someplace to stay

Since you want a 1 bedroom and that's supposedly not as popular a size to book, I'll send you some pixie dust. Hopefully you'll get it. Did you just go on the waitlist now?

Don't mean to hijack but any idea if a waitlist might come through for BCV. We're renting points and our friend( who we are renting from) called 9:00 AM this morning at the 7 mos window and one night we needed was sold out, so we booked AKV instead and have been waitlisted for BCV studio. We need it for 10/3-10/7. I know it is a small resort and it is the beginning of F&W. So what do you think our chances of getting it are????

I think your chances (despite F&W) are better than Kidani over Memorial Weekend. F&W goes from 10/1 to 11/14. I've waitlisted for BWV and BC in September and October for a one bedroom villa a few years back and both came through.

Hi Bobbi! Thanks for your input and the pixie dust. I just made reservations at OKW and went on the AKV waitlist today. Interestingly enough, even thought it is Memorial Day weekend, the weekend days 5/28 - 5/29 were available. It is the weekdays for which there is no current availablity. At this point I am just hoping pixie dust works for us, if not we have the OKW ressies and I am happy to have those. The opportunity to take this trip just materialized in the past couple of days and I had to act on short notice with the ressies and planning. Now I'm getting dining ressies lined up. So far I've been able to get all the ones I want except for Le Cellier and I didn't really think that would happen on such short notice.

Thanks for answering. Hopefully some pixie dust will come our way. I love AKL but I've never stayed at BCV before and it would be awesome to be there for food and wine festival.

I've been on the waitlist for a MK-view 1BR at BLT for June 1-June 5 since the 7 month window opened and it still hasn't came through.......we do have a Bay Lake view booked, but I really wanted the MK view and we also have points in holding that I guess we'll just lose. I'm really thinking after all this time that its not going to happen........good luck, Gregowa, I hope it comes through for you, but with how much success my waitlist has seen, its probably a good thing that you're happy at OKW if it doesn't come through............

I had to change our trip from June to May 15-21 last Friday and was lucky to get OKW in a 2 bedroom. I like the HH area and almost had all the nites there, oh wait I did until the CM cancelled my June trip and could not hold the May dates and I lost two of the days while she was doing that. I was so mad I had to get two reservations for three days at HH and two at OKW, I then called back and took all 5 nites at OKW non HH. I am on the waitlist for AKV Jambo savannah and BC both 2 bedrooms. Wish me luck. I would rather be at one of them since OKW is our home and we have stayed there numerous times.
