Rivers of Light is going to happen after dark. In the summer, I would say that show won't start until at least 9:00, so my guess is park closing either at 9, or 10, with people leaving once the show is actually over.

I would like to know when the night safari is going to take place. Disney is calling it a "sunset safari." Is it going to take place at sunset or night?

Someone here may know if they are installing lights on the safari route. Without lighting, one wouldn't see much after dusk. Also uncertain as to whether lighting is best for the welfare of the animals(i.e. if it isn't good for the beasts, Disney probably wouldn't do it.)

For now. When the new attractions are officially!ly announced I would expect more changes to the hours. And continued tweaking of them for a few months. And then more changes when Pandora opens next year.

My guess is that the park closing will vary seasonally, like DHS, with the park closing with ROL, except on EMH nights. Because I'm also convinced that evening EMHs will come back to AK.

I hope they put in evening EMH! I was excited to see the park hours extended. Originally the closing was 5pm.

They have been training for a months now. As well as playing music loud at night to get them used to the noises from rivers of light.

1. It's an evening "spectacular" that takes place on the water. Just Google the name.
2. No. They will also be offering a safari that runs in the evening. Something that they have never offered to the general public.

1. 8PM will not be nearly late enough during the actual summer months, as it will not be dark enough for the RoL show by 8PM.

Exactly. Which if they do, they're not going to be able to wait until after dark, or else the park wouldn't be closing until 11 or 12 in the summer, and I really can't see that happening there.
