Do you like it? Is it easy to clean? Have you noticed a difference in your home/allergies since you started using it?

TIA:sunny:

Yep, bought ours at Radio Shack, has a five year warranty, under $200. Runs 24/7. We have it in the laundry room kitchen area. Can't say it has helped with allergies but sure helps the stale cooking odors. You just wipe the filter down with a damp cloth.

We have 2 of the big tall ones. I keep one in the bedroom running 24/7. It is easy to clean. Just pull it out and wipe down the shafts with the cloth that came with it. It DOES have to be dry before you put it back in the tube, but doesn't take more than a few minutes. I do think it helps with allergies. I am very allergic to cats and right now have 2 in the house. (yeah, I know!) They are shut out of the bedroom during the day and I do find that I am able to breathe more easily when sleeping. They were expensive-nearly $250 each. It included a "free" one for the bathroom which I am not impressed with.

I just got an email from Staples that they are having the Ionic Breeze 3.0 Silent Air Purifier on sale from 11/7 - 11/13: buy one get one half off. The first one is $249.95 and second one is $125.00. Does that seem like a good deal? That would balance out to 25% off each.
