Does Anyone Have a Toyota Highlander?

Does any one drive a highlander? What about the 4 cyclinder version? What do you think of it?

I was planning on buying a highlander next year, but it looks like I may have to buy a new car sooner. Right now, if I want a highlander, I can only go with the 4 cyclinder version. Would that be enough power for that car? I test drove a V6 awhile back and I loved it.

If I don't go with the highlander, I am looking at the Sante Fe. Any thoughts on that one?

DH just bought a Highlander 3 months ago! He LOVES it! He does have the V6/AWD though. We did testdrive the 4cylinder, and still loved it. It's a great little SUV! GO FOR IT! You'll love it!

If you have looked at the Highlander, you might find the Sant Fe to be a giant step down in quality, we did. You get what you pay for.

I ended up buying the Camry instead of the Highlander this time...plan to go for the hybrid when the bring it out.

Yeah - I'm waiting for that Highlander hybrid also. I'm not sure why I think I need a hybrid as I only drive about 100 miles a week - but it's the principle that I agree with.

We have the 4 cyclinder highlander. We think its a great SUV.
We went with the smaller engine to get the better gas miliage. It works great for us. Its our first suv. Its more peppy than my 2000 jetta. Its got an awesome turning radius for being in parking garages and such too.
