Does anyone have a Space Coast launch schedule?

We are leaving very soon for our vacation.

My DH seems to remember readings on a website that a launch was scheduled for August 22nd, but can't find that information anymore.

Does anyone know of a website which still lists that information? Or when we get to Orlando, is there any information given out?

Hi,

Last August we were privileged to view a space launch launch, and it was totally awesome. We watched the launch in Titusville at the Holiday Inn there. Next time, I would like to try to get tickets to watch from inside the launch area.

The launch next week is on the 2lst.

Any idea on how long is the drive from WDW?

It takes about an hour to drive from Orlando to Kennedy Space Center. We've watched a shuttle launch from Titusville and it was so impressive!

Much to my dismay I was told when we were going down in march that since 9-11 they were no longer announcing launches ahead of time. They said launches would be announced about a week ahead of the day of the launch. Not sure if this still is the rule but it was then. We saw a launch a few years back. See it if you can AWSOME!!!!
