A friend of mine who has been to WDW MANY times, was checking the price per night of these 2 Hotels, and could NOT believe how expensive they were! So, I was wondering, if there was a "discount ) of some sort was given for these hotels?

I got an annual pass rate of $225.00 for Poly Garden View Concierge. We are going 12/14/03-12/20/03.

Noticed your a Florida Resident..is your friend? Disney has great discounts for Fla residents avl quite often...some blackout times but they have great rates until the end-of-the-year. There are also AP rates and AAA rates.::yes::

I know about the Discounts, but I DO NOT think that Poly and Contemp are INCLUDED in the Fl. Residents Discounts!:o I had told her about being an AP holder, but she is not!:o

The Discounts are usualy for all resorts maybe just a little higher rate then what is published as starting rate you can also get discounted rates for BWV, Poly CR and BC ect....just call and asked CRO.

And I'm sorry YOU DO NOT THINK.

We got an AP rate of 189.55(including tax) at the Poly for 12/24-12/29. Thats more than 50% off!:D

:wave2:
We got a rate of $164/nite at CR for Standard view back in May, rack rate was $264. I was happy, we love the CR:sunny: .

I usually go off season and usually find a code through Mousesavers and have gotten great discounts. Two years ago I got 50% off the Tower Club at the Contemporary. This year we are going at the beginning of December and booked the Winter Dreamaker package at great rates. They're getting alot better on coming out with special packages for discounts.

I got a cast discount on the contemporary this past July (standard wing room). We also got a discount on the contemporary for July 2004, but decided to move to the WL for next July at a cast rate.

I have stayed at the Contemporary twice and the Poly twice both on Florida resident's discounts. Unfortunatley the discounts offered for both hotels aren't as good as they use to be.
