Does anyone else not like spring?

Spring is my least favorite season. Theres always thunderstorms, and tornado warnings, and all the annoying little bugs and bees start coming out again. I wish we could just skip spring. Anyone else?

I don't care for it either. The only thing I like is that I know summer is on the way.

In our area, you *think* it's going to get really nice but them we end of having a lot of rain, gray and cold days. I get made when I still have to wear my sweaters and jackets in April. But then, every once in awhile we'll get a "shorts weather" day. It's just such a tease...

I don't like the endless rain. Spring is probably my 3rd favorite season. Nothing will ever be worse than winter. Although, I have to admit...it's nice having no bugs around!

I hate the mud. Our backyard gets very muddy and my dog tracks it all over the house.

Yeah, and your Cubs and White Sox begin another season mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. pirate:

Too much excitement and drama always occurs in spring. Fortunately, I like excitement and drama; therefore, I've always considered spring my favorite season! My bday, anniversary, ds's bday (today!), bil's bday, sis's bday, mom's bday and a history of lots of new experiences and adventures always seem to occur for me, especially in late March thru April! I love the promise of warmer weather!

To be honest though, after 6 years of living in New England, I've come to really appreciate Fall. The colorful foliage, the escape from humidity, no need for coats yet, no mud on the ground, back-to-school (tho I miss my kids when they're at school), apple picking, pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, my two older dd's bdays... that's a fun time of year to be in New England too!

HAHA! Thats ok though, cuz we're not Cubs fans, so them losing...not so bad. Would be nice to see the Sox go further though.

I allso admit Spring is my least favorite season. I don't like how it's 40 degrees one day and 70 the next. Plus too much mud that gets tracked into our small house!

Living where the tree pollen goes crazy in the spring, count me as another one who could skip straight to summer!

Normally by this time of year, all our maple trees are dropping tons of the yellow stuff. And it usually pours, so we'll have yellow floating on top of the puddles each storm.

It's colder than normal this year, but I'm sure this will happen within the next few weeks.

I like spring CONDITIONALLY. I like it after the leaves are on the trees and after the grass starts growing and after the flowers are blooming. Pretty much, I like spring AFTER May 1st. :)

I don't like sneezing myself silly nor do I like all the tree pollen and seed
pods that gets caught in our dogs fur and then ends up inside. Definitely the messiest and most allergic time of the year for me.

I do like working out in the yard and planting stuff.

so it's not all bad

I hate early spring for the reasons you mentioned. Late spring is wonderful though!

I do hate spring fashions, though. I can't stand wearing pastels!

Are you kidding? :earseek:

My Dh and I take weekend trips in spring to -everywhere. To see the Tulips blooming, then the azaleas, then to various Spring festivals, and finally to the Texas Hill Country to see the masses of wildflowers.

I love Spring. :flower:

I love spring--mainly because I hate winter so much! DH and I went around the yard last night to check on the progress of the little spring bulbs I put in last fall. It's like magic to see them starting to grow. Pretty soon we'll have tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils. The crocuses (crocusi?) are are already in full bloom.

I love spring clothes and spring cleaning and airing out the house. Woo hoo! :cheer2:

Wow, how can anyone hate spring :earseek: I love all 3 days of it we get here in Florida! It gets summer weather here long before summer and I can't stand those hot, humid days. So I'll take allergies and rain over heat anyday. Of course, it could be that you asked this on a beautiful, breezy, sunny day! :sunny:

YEA FOR SPRING!!!!!

I hate spring. I don't like how the weather can't make up its mind. And I always get sick as soon as the weather starts to change, for a couple weeks. A couple weeks after I get better the allergies kick in for the rest of spring, most of summer, with a quick break then fall allergies. I'm a winter kind of girl. I'm not allergic to that yet.
