John just left to go pick John-Cole up from the school from a football game. Well my black and white beauty Cinders is at the backdoor YELLING for her daddy. I have begged her to be quiet, nope doesn't work. She will sit right there and meow until John gets home.

Both of mine who you can see in my signiture, do the same thing even when they can see me. They will go around a corner and meow and I bring one of them back and then the other starts up.

Yes! My cat drives me nuts sometimes. He waits until we are all in bed and then he has to make round around the house. Meowing LOUDLY in each room. I guess he is looking for burglars or something. Then he will jump in bed and meow LOUDLY in my face before he lays down and goes to sleep. :confused3

My cat Misti (Mistofolees) is quite vocal when she feels it is time for her to eat, and my other cat Simi (Simkin) cries incessantly both when she feels she needs attention and also after 11 pm when all the lights are off and she feels the need to hunt! :paw:

My DD's cat will be downstairs and will cry until Kari goes to the basement stairs to call him. I guess he needs her voice to guide him home! We always tell her "uh, oh, TJ is lost downstairs again, better go call him." Oh, yeah, we have lived here 4 years and he has been doing it the whole time!

OMG, yes. I adopted Rumpus from someone my sister worked with who had to get rid of him due to his 2 year old developing severe allergies. The little "ad" that he'd written up said that Rumpus loved to talk. Boy, he sure wasn't kidding. The only time he's quiet is when he's asleep! He sure isn't shy about letting you know how he feels.

oh my gosh, we got back form our trip yesterday...was gone 12 days total, and you should here the cussint out we are getting....before anyone flames, we had a house/kitty sitter he was not alone.

Our cat was leash trained and I swear he used to say "out" as he stood by the door waiting to go outside. As soon as he saw his leash he also flopped onto the floor so we could buckle him up.

Our cat does the same thing. If he does not have his harness on he will cry and cry and cry. The minute he hears the leash he is at the door either flopped down or standing still. Then when we come home from work he will talk for an hour I'm sure he is telling us all about his day but I wish I could understand. He'll also wake us up in the morning if we are sleeping late he thinks everyday starts at 6:45.

I have a baby girl who says Out as well. All my babies are indoor kitties but we have two that we let out in the backyard sometimes while we watch them. Mindy-Lou will go to the backdoor and say "Out" "Out" I wish I could record her. She wanted "Out" during the Hurricane and I said NO you can't go out, we argued for I know 10 minutes.

DH grew up with LOTS of cats, so he loves kitties who talk. He is always encouraging our cats "Sing, kitties, sing!"

Our one cat is an Oriental shorthair, and she meows all the time. Even if there is nothing to meow about.

Aurora, our kitten, has a very squeaky little voice, and sometimes she opens her mouth but no noise comes out! DH hopes she will talk more as she gets older. :rotfl:

Yep. She's part or all ragdoll, and I wonder if it's just her breed? She's also really attached to her dad. Presently she's headed to the back door to sqwak at him :rolleyes2 I'm to the point where I can just tune her out completely now.

Rumpleteazer, our orange/white/cream domestic short hair moggie, LOVES to talk. Constantly.

About the fact that DS is chasing her, her food bowl isn't full enough, she doesn't have enough water, her bathroom is too stinky (even though I cleaned it 5 minutes ago!), that the door is closed (she'll yowl AND tear up at the carpet, so we don't close doors unless we have to around here), about the fact that Flopsy,Mopsy and Cottontail (the wild bunnies who visit us)are up on the deck bugging her, about the fact that Stupid Moron, Begging2beRoadkill and Idiotbrain (cats from the neighborhood..don't know their names. That's just what I call them) are in the front yard making fun of her...you name it, she complains about it. :rotfl2:

my kitty is infamous for his vocals. Even when I am talking on the telephone, people have said "can you turn you TV/Radio down, I can barely hear you!?"

non stop kitty talk. I love it mostly, except in the middle of the night when he gets wound up! ;)

Oh yes....2 Siamese cats here! Hannah was walking around crying because I had to strip the bed and wash the bedding.

Mavric sounds like a baby cow whenever I am in the kitchen.

I have to tell people on the phone sometimes....that is a cat...I am not ignoring a crying baby.

Love my snookies!

Awwww I love reading these stories. TOV yours is cracking me up!!!! Cairo complains that she isn't getting enough snacks (RIGHT AFTER I GAVE HER A HANDFUL!)

Aren't they spoiled!! Its sad how we spoil them.

Unfortunately, my cat is very vocal about 4 am, EVERY day. She sleeps with me, and we keep the bedroom door closed, but at that time she always needs to make a visit to the litter box. She will get right up in my ear and meow away till I get up and open the door for her. I then have to wait for her to go and come back, or she will stand outside the door being obnoxiously vocal until I let her back in.

She also lets me know when she needs food, water, wants to go sit on the screened porch, needs some petting, etc.

OH MY GOSH--this is EXACTLY what my cat does. I thought she was the only one. She will meow about 30 times non-stop while she is settling down and getting ready to lie down and start purring.

She will walk right up to us and look us right in the eye--and then meow over and over as if we could understand her.

SIlly Kitty!!

My cat cries when I go somewhere, not that it bothers ME cause I am not there to hear it. :)
