Does Anyone Else Feel Like DVC Members Just Lost Another Perk?

Was looking at OKW on the Disney site, ammenities still list internet as a fee for service ammenity. NO mention of free internet. Am i missing something?

Not sure why you have to prevent someone else from having free wi-fi in order to feel special. DVC is all about the rooms. That's what you paid for. And the free wi-fi benefits you, too.

I agree with you rocketriter. I think they just want something to complain about. It's wifi who cares REALLY.

I just left AKV Jambo and I must say I loved the Wifi. It was really fast. Here is a comparison for you. Before the DCL cruise I took on the 8th of Oct I asked a friend to take me to BestBuy so I can get the new Transformers in it's combo pack. Well the digital copy that was 2.2 GB took 7 hours to download with the Free wired internet. That's right 7 hours. Fast forward to Oct 15 when we returned from the Magic, and the Wifi was active. I need to download the new iOS5 for my iPhone. That was 770 MB, well that took a whole 6 min to download. It was super fast. So I am thrilled with the new wifi and if everyone else is getting it I could care less. Finally no more hooking my laptop into the wall at the worst place in the studio. I do not feel I lost a thing, in fact I feel I gained something new.

There seems to be several different categories of perks, some that fall into the shared category, some that are exclusive to DVC (with examples):
...
DVC Resort Guest Perks (owner or their guest staying with them on points) - Pool Hopping, Free internet access
DVC Perks - Discounts...

Only if the guests are staying with them, but not if the owner isn't staying with them or the non-member compensated the member for the stay.
