Does anyone eles?

You are not alone, a lot of us do.

My brother picks on me and says that I make "lists of lists to make!" The sad part is that it isn't far from the truth. I just went last night and purchased a notebook and dividers so that I can make a separate section for things like dining ideas, resort choices, etc. :yay: BTW, I already own the deluxe edition Passporter. Wouldn't you think that would be sufficient -- not a chance!! Have fun making your lists -- I know I will.

We use Excel as well. We don't plan the rides either but do tentatively plan counter service, we include our ADR and any special things we want to do at each park or at the resort that have specific times. It helps if we decide to split up, we aren't wasting time trying to figure out where we are going to meet up for the next meal.

I plan what days to do what parks and we just made our first ever ADR for the Ohana Breakfast, but we don't plan anything else

I had never planned on doing an itenerary for each day till my sis made one. She and I are going in Sept and she will be on a time schedule (she has to work while we are there). Now I am seriously considering making one for my Oct trip with Dh just to help prevent missing anyting important (like ADR's).

I need to have my BIL read this post. So far I have only made dinner ADR's, planned what days we will do Sea World, Univeral, and the ocean (we have 3 days in Orlando before we check in at WDW) appointments for the girls at BBB and made a list of what we all want to see. Yesterday he asked me if we had scheduled bathroom breaks or if he was free to go whenever the urge strikes. I'm not feeling very appreciated at the moment ;)

You should have told him in a sarcastic joking manner "no you have to stick to the schedule and you only get one break a day" :lmao:

More or less, yes we do. We have been doing this for 10 years and it has worked for us.

i made a table in word and a column for each day. i have each day broken down into 3s (morning, afternoon and evening) i have parade times, ressie confirm #s- i have B,L, D and snacks color coded.

i was JUST thinking- instead of bringing this sheet to the parks everyday- i may do little daily ones and laminate them just so i follow them.

i was NEVER a "world planner" until you had to start planning your meals in advance (b/c the DDP) and in december when dh and i went to the world, he said next time, lets try not to hop so much. that is why i planned each day to spend as much time in one park as possible-- except we ALWAYS end up at the WS at the end of the night.....gotta "drink around the world" at the end of the night.

Ha! You have the same sense of humor as me :rotfl: I told him he was free to go whenever he felt the urge as long as it fell in one of the three predetermined 5 minute potty breaks. He better lay off the coffee ;)

I have a detailed list in a notebook..adn using the my trip planner at the disney site....I am just a tad obsessed at the moment...
The hubby groans when I fill him in on the latest bit of info that i have gotten and the latest plans :)

I am another "Word" person I guess...I do a table with a column for each day, divided into "breakfast, morning, lunch, afternoon, dinner, evening" and also record where we'll be staying each night, where the extra magic hours are expected to be that day. :thumbsup2 Of course I include all the ADR times and confirmation numbers; this time we have a large group, with 3 different family groups arriving at different times, so I posted everybody's flight times with their initials, the whole bit. I even put a little "key" on the bottom of each page explaining what all the abbreviations mean. AND a note indicating the schedules for all the parades, fireworks, etc. THEN I am emailing it to everyone in our group. Unfortunately it's gone through a number of revisions already and I'm sure by the time I'm done each family will have a "book" of all the different versions...suppose I'll have to start dating each printout so they don't get too confused. Whoa, and we still have over 5 months...that's 155 days...before we go!
 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I thought I was the only one that made excel lists color coded for each park with all the confirmation numbers and times for reservations. I am soooo glad I am not crazy! My husband just stares at me and rolls his eyes and says "No, I don't want to look at your schedule." Ha! Wait till he hears there are more like me out there.... :thumbsup2

Yes! Actually, it's one of the first things I do. It helps me plan how long our vacation will be trying to fit in the things we want to do. I take it with me everywhere on vacation. It has all confirmation #'s. Basically, it's my travel bible!

Oh yes, I am the excel queen. Last year when my dh & I went with the entire family (mom, dad, aunts, uncles, etc) I had an excel spreadsheet for each of the 11 days that we were there. They think I'm crazy and dh calls me the "task master" but I like everything to be organized and planned so that we don't miss a thing.
