I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but since its all about earning extra money for trips I thought I'd try here first. I used to do rewards religiously, so many hours a day I hate to think about it! I got totally burned out and after our last Disney trip I haven't done any. The fact that the payouts were getting so low didn't help either!
Occasionally I do odd jobs for a company called Pat Henry if anyone is interested. They e-mail me when an assignment is open in my area. I can accept as many or as few as I want (or none at all). Most jobs they've had me do took about 2 hrs. (including driving time) and I made $24. Last month I did a job that took most of the day, I had to visit 15 stores (K-Marts & Targets) and place "Made in USA" stickers on their Hoover vacuums. But I got paid $150. I was in and out of each store in 5 minutes. Of course you have to consider gas costs to decide if its worth it (to me it was). That $150 check went right in the Disney jar.
So does anyone know of any other similar type companies that do this type of work? I would love to do more and if anyone wants more info on what the Pat Henry jobs are like then post here or PM/e-mail me. Or give me a kick in the pants and get me motivated to get back on the rewards bandwagon!
By the way the Pat Henry thing is www.pathenry.com. You used to be able to apply online but now I think you have to call them. Also I've taken my kids with me on some jobs as my "assistant" and given them part of the money (must be used for WDW of course!) The Pat Henry people told me this was fine as long as they were old enough to behave and not run around (this was referring to when we were putting brochures in doctors offices).
