Does anyone catch a cab at the airport?

I'm sorry. That's my old signature from last year. I can't figure of how to change it. We are staying at the Doubletree and then CBR.

Putting in the address for the Doubletree in DTD calculates a fare of around $46.

Traffic, tolls, possible "long hauling" and a car service might cost a little less.

Advantage of a taxi. You're not looking/waiting for a driver. Not an issue if, at the last minute, you decide to grab a quick bite or shop at MCO.

NOTE-- Using the drop down locations Mears shows a fare of $36 from MCO to the Disney Institute. Put in the address for SSR and the calculated for is $48.

I wonder if Mears is basing the distance on "as the crow flies" when you select via the drop down choices. Alternately the fare might be "hard coded" and not adjusted for fare increases.

A lot of people are happy using a taxi. I'd hate to think someone using a taxi think they'll be saving $$$ vs a car service.

We are staying at the Doubletree the first few days followed by CBR.

Budget rental Car has an Office at the Double Tree at DTD for around the same cost you might be able to rent a car for 1 day, then you could pick up some food for your room & eat off site for a meal to save.
