Not sure if we had them here in the Northeast. I was in high school and college in the 70's but I do not remember purses shaped like houses? Do you have a picture? I had a kleenex holder similar to a house and the kleenex came out through the roof...!

I borrowed my sisters and she wants it back!!

My sister was wanting one, she a Roy Rogers/dale Evans room and she has some Roy Rogers fabric, she was wanting to find one of the purse and use the fabric.

No, but my mom used to make me reversible purses with wooden O ring handles. You could just flip them inside out for the other side. I loved them. She also used to make reversible wrap around skirts. I remember that being really big.
