WOW! Nope, not even on my radar!!! I've been a Disney fan for years, but my son was born 10 years ago with medical needs and I don't remember much else from 1996!! That's probably why its not in the memory banks!! It really does make you want to go back though!! Only 7 more days!!

Yes! Those were great commercials. So touching and emotional. Made you wanna just hop on a plane and go to Disney! Although i must say my all time fav WDW commercial is the one where the average all-American dad tries to flirt with Cinderella. It is exactly my dad so for his birthday a few years ago we had lunch at CRT so he could get his picture taken with Cinderella and recreate the commercial.

I remember it.... we were married in July 1996 and went to Disney for our honeymoon for that 25 yr celebration! Thanks for the good memory!!!!!!

I seem to remember the phrase "it's time to remember the magic", but I don't remember the actual commercial. It's one of their best ones, I think! Very sweet and moving! I love looking at pictures from my family trips to WDW in the 1970's when I was growing up. Everyone looked so "well groomed" and decent and MK was immaculate. It was a far cry from today's trashy, inappropriate clothing and rude manners that you unfortunately encounter. Sorry, I'm just "waxing nostalgic". I still love the World and always will!

We got married & honeymooned there during the 25th (June 97). So I loved it everytime one of those came on the tv. It would get us so excited.

I loved that line "It's time to remember the magic". One of the best ones Disney has had.

Thanks for bringing the memories back! We went that year too before the kids. I don't care what everyone else says, I thought the big pink cake castle was cool! I mean, it was only for 1 year. I'd be mad if they left it that way, but it was fun for a little while. Those were great times!

I don't remember that specific commercial but I definitley remember the whole "Remember the Magic" campaign. I loved the RTM song they would play during the MK fireworks show then. That one gave me goosebumps for sure!

They gave out a cassett tape with vacation packages for the 25th anniversry, that song was on it with about 4 other songs. I still have the tape and listen to it every once in awhile. I also have a lot of pictures of the pink cake castle. They also used that song for the MK parade during the 25th anniverary celebration.

Wow, this takes me back! I made a 25th anniversary trip over the long Thanksgiving week-end in '97 with three friends from work. They gave out free commemorative posters; mine is framed & hanging in my bedroom. (really cool poster, by the way).

Yup ... one of the best slogans (and songs) ever for WDW.

Great commercial!

DH and I went in March 97. I was about 5m pg at the time, we had booked before we knew that was going to happen! It was DH's first trip ever. I must say he was so bummed that the castle looked like a cake. He kept saying how he had seen the castle on tv when he was a kid and now to finally see it and not have it look like "the" castle was a bummer.
