Does anybody know why the Swan & Dolphin 'skin' changed?

I posted this query originall over on the Tech Support board, but at a Webmaster's suggestion am posting over here as well.
I really liked the aqua/coral. This new scheme is actually hard on my eyes, the mustards(?) & blues and bright whites. I'm probably going to have to cut down on my DIS'ing. I've tried all the various other 'skins' tonight & I still like the aqua/coral Swan/Dolphin skin the best. Made me want to stay there, y'know?

I have no clue why it changed. We mods usually aren't informed about changes like this.

The color scheme was changed to fit more closely with the overall branding of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels and website. http://www.swandolphin.com/home.html

I will make the previous color style available, as a standard DISboards selection, but this is the new default style for this forum. I did make few color adjustments to help your eyes with the color transition, and the bright whites.

So how do you change the color style?...I have to agree with the OP...for some reason...it's hard to keep looking at this thread...I feel like I have to squint as I read...

I love the new color scheme, but I am a purple nut. It reminds me of Figment!
So far I don't seem to have any trouble reading the threads.

I think its very smart, very classy. (However my kitchen is painted orange and dark blue, what do I know )
