Does anybody know when the 100th anniversary of Disney officially starts?

We are going oct 13th throught the 20th and are curious to know if anybody had any idea when the festivitiesfor this begin, I thought I read somewhere on here in October, but do not recall when.

The 100th Birthday Celebration of Walt Disney and the Magic Kingdom's 30th Anniversary Celebration will start Oct. 1,2001. :)
