LOL - same here! We have two dogs that like to shred!
BTW Your dog is gorgeous. Our Princess is lab/weimeraner mix, she looks more labby now - but when we got her (from the rescue at 8 weeks) she looked more like the weimeraner. I see so many more of the breed in the past couple years! Our other "shredder" is a Yorkie.... she also shreds pens, pencils, and anything else left unattended - I think she is part STITCH!
I bought one called Executive Machine at office max...it was cheap, like 39.99 and it came with a 20.00 rebate! I put everything in there, staples, credit cards etc and it works fine. The only thing that I would recommend is that you get the cross shredder, much safer than just the straight one...the cross one it would be almost impossible to piece those things together, the straight ones you can.
You can go to Amazon (Electronics section) and read customer reviews there. My dad has a Fellowes shredder, and it works pretty well. Plus, they have great safety features.
Well, I went out to K-Mart and bought a brand I had never heard of, Aurora (hey it kind of has a Disney name ) Anyway, it cuts 8 sheets at a time, cross cuts, does credit cards and has a waste basket.
I was having all kinds of fun going thru my clutter.
MaryAnn, Give it a try. I think you will like it!
Lisa L, Too funny!
Barb, Good to see you're still DISin'!
This is good to read. I have been wanting to get one for our house bills and personal information. I usually save what I want shredded and then take it to work where we have two shredders, one being a industrial type. I can't stand that the credit card company sends checks for my account all the time, a definite shred item.
