I'm not sure how I went so far into my life without stepping foot into a Dollar Tree!

I straight up love Dollar Tree. My fave buys there are:
Chiclets gum
Wrapping paper
Hair bands
Glue on nails (yep another obsession of mine)
Nail polish
Nail polish strips
Organizer tray type thingies (real technical term)
Pregnancy tests
Lip smackers or any type of lip balm (obsession alert)
Razors (I've had laser removal so I only have a few stray hairs here and there. I used to spring for really $$$$ razors when I used to have to shave for real)

What are your favorite Dillar Tree items?

We love their vegetable spring rolls and pot stickers in the freezer section as well as their Awesome brand cleaner.

Ours has great whole wheat bread and bagels made by a local bakery. Plus I love reading glasses, coupon holders and cards.

Reading glasses, ponchos for WDW trips and Disney figurines. They finally stocked the Frozen ones.

I'm all about some Dollar Tree when it comes time to wrap presents! Not just Christmas, but any occasion really. Super cheap gift bags and gift boxes and bows, etc. The wrapping paper they sell is usually paper-thin, but who cares? It's just gonna get torn off anyhow! :thumbsup2 And last year at Christmas, I found some insanely cute DISNEY wrapping papers there... A couple with Mickey & Friends, and even one with Anna & Elsa and Olaf! One year I stocked up on boxes of super cute Tinkerbell-themed holiday cards that I used the following Christmas.

I really should probably go there for other stuff, but I never do.

we Love the Dollar Tree - lik ea PP said - we are ALL about the Disney Wrapping Paper - we do a specific paper for each person instead of name tags - I just have to make a cheat sheet of who has what paper so we don't forget!

We also did most of our grocery shopping there before the DH went in the military and we were on such a tight budget

Cleaning products are always from Dollar tree.
We make special bins for road trips filled with markers, coloring books, little toy trinkets and of course snack items
I use there dish towels a lot to change out the kitchen during the seasons and gift bags, cards are always stocked up from Dollar tree.

I have a few wine glasses from Dollar Tree :rotfl:

Also, like gift bags, wrapping paper etc... are good things to get there. I like to get some cleaning supplies there too. It is fun to just look around and see what's to be found. I have stocked up on a good amount of Frozen stuff there too. :woohoo:

About the wrapping paper- I went after Christmas and found rolls of Star Wars and Ariel paper (no holiday prints mixed in). I don't even want to think what I'd have to pay to order that kind of paper online. It's definitely the best purchase I found there. Greeting cards are my second favorite thing there because they are about $.50.

I loved Dollar Tree until just this past Monday. The one I stopped at had Christmas wrapping paper out already. :faint:

I got a 2 pack of cupcake holders there today. I'm planning ahead for our November trip. Got them in case we can't eat dessert (yeah right) and they happen to be cupcakes. LOL :p

I love the cards and note packs because I send so many to people
Also I use it for alot of decorations for my vacation bible school class depending on the theme
I also buy most of the stuff for the Operation Christmas Child Shoe boxes there
I get the candy, gum and mints for the ds stockings and also when I dont feel like paying $4 for a box at the movies

I recently did a baby shower for my daughter and got almost everything I needed at either the Dollar Tree or Dollarama. They had pretty textured white tablecloths, white and clear platters and containers and baskets for setting out the food, decorations in pink and blue, etc. We did go to a party store for some of the decorations but I saved a lot by getting most of what we needed at the dollar stores. We used some Dollar Tree candle-holders with florist's foam to stick flowers in as part of the decor too. It's amazing what you can find there! Everyone had positive comments about how pretty it all looked.

their awesome orange spray is fantastic, it's the only place I buy spik and span, love it for decent quality/cheap gift bags and helium filled mylar balloons, use their aluminum foil baking containers (great for batches of frozen lasagna, enchiladas and such-one use and toss), their betty crocker line of plastic containers are fantastic-microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe, the shallow rectangular clear containers (I think people buy them to transport deviled eggs)-I bought a few a year or so ago and put all our infrequently used kitchen tools in them (potato peelers, turkey baster, garlic press, pampered chef only used a couple times a year gadgets...). they are now on one of my kitchen cabinet pull out shelves so I don't have to deal with the clutter. I can get jarred roasted bell peppers for almost a quarter of what I would pay at the grocery store.

my most recent favorite find from them is the pop up aluminum foil sheets-they come in a container akin to a tissue box. 30 sheets for $1. I still use my reynolds wrap for heavy duty stuff, but these are the bomb for covering small items (and I don't end wasting as much of the too big reynolds wrap).

I loved Dollar Tree until just this past Monday. The one I stopped at had Christmas wrapping paper out already. :faint:

heck-our Costco had Christmas wrap out at the beginning of august, and hobby lobby-july:crazy2:

I like to get greeting cards and gift bags from there. I get some of our food from there. Yellow rice is much cheaper at the dollar tree, almost a dollar cheaper than the grocery store and its the same brand. I get some of the southern style veggies because they are almost a dollar cheaper a can for the same brand. Same for olives and pickles. They are also the only place I can get Dukes mayo.

Wrapping paper, bleach for my husband's work clothes and just about anything else I can use around the house. I've been slowly stocking up on Disney goodies for the kids, also.

What area of the store has anyone found the ponchos? We have 2 in the area I travel during the week, but I have yet to find them. Our trip in Dec 2016, so I have time, but I'm trying to slowly stock up and things I can start getting.

Yes! Love Dollartree.
*greeting cards
*mylar balloons
*parchment paper
*matching dishes, bowls & coffee cups for my DD's apartment
*recently found mini cooling towels--not as quality as my Frogg Toggs but mini and easy to throw into my crossbody bag. Only bought 2 --wish I would've grabbed more--gone now :(
*found the crock pot liner bags --there's only 2 per bag but a lot cheaper than the name brand and they work great. I bought about 5 boxes of them and have not seen them again :(
*party napkins, plates, plastic ware
*3 oz toothpaste for carry-on
*reading glasses
*travel size tummy medicines
*jarred chopped garlic, jalapenos & pickles
If you find something you like--buy in bulk haha but watch expiration dates
My list could go on and on

They haves pretty decent selection of peanut/tree nut free stuff which is great for my son's allergies. Cookies, candy and some frozen treats.

And their party supplies!!

Gift bags and tissue paper, greeting cards, notepads, pan scrubbers, seasonal and party decor, Tapatio sauce, movie candy and more. Love it, go 1 or 2 times a month.

Greeting cards, party supplies, school supplies, bandaids, toothbrushes, hairbands, etc. LOVE IT!
