Does antibiotics make anyone in here angry or agitated?

This has happened the last couple of times that I took them.

I am on one of those Zpack things and I have been pretty ticked off most of the day and can't calm down.

Having mood swings. Weird.

I am normally a pretty happy guy.

Is this male PMS? (ok bad joke)

My little daughter gets real jittery as well if she is prescribed some from the daughter for a resp infection or what have you.

Heat and sun can intensify some side effects. Drink plenty of water and limit sun exposure---z-packs effects last a bit for several weeks.

Zithromax is an evil drug. I had a very bad experience from it.

Antibiotics usually just make me extremely tired. Like Benadryl drowsy.

Luckily, it's been years since I've needed any and knock on wood, I'll make it through the summer without some sort of ailment!!

Zithromax knocks me for a loop too. The only way I can take it without intense stomach pain is to eat 2 slices of bread and chase it with 2 more slices after I take it.

I haven't noticed it making me angry or agitated, but then again, I haven't taken it in awhile and I teach middle school... I get agitated a lot.

If I take Keflex, then I am uncontrollable according to my Mom. I only took it the one time and my parents refused to let me have it again. Taking Coedine makes me ill. I fell like I could yell at the wall if it looked at me funny. Yeah that only took one perscription.

My Sister's oldest was taking a new steriod for her astma and it caused a huge difference in her attitude. She was acting up in class and misbehaving at home.

Meds can do a lot of different things to different people.

Lately I think docs have been prescribing meds to patients who probably could just kick the cold on their own. This is why we now have 'superbugs' where the antibiotics aren't able to kill the bacteria. I try really hard to only go to the doc when I know there is not other alternative..
