Does Amazon have sales?

I have earned $205 worth of GC to Amazon from Swagbucks. My son wants an Ipod Touch for Christmas so I am planning on buying it from Amazon. It is $275 right now at Amazon. Does Amazon have specials? Will it get lower near Black Friday? Does Amazon offer any deals? Thanks.

In my personal experience I've never seen an Apple product on "sale" or offered on Black Friday. I would have actually shown up in a store for that.

We bought one last year at amazon on black Friday. I think it was $25 off the regular price but came with a $25 amazon gift certificate

yes, I do 90% of holiday shopping on Amazon for Christmas.

Last year I got my daughter ipod touch for 175. A remember no tax or shipping.

Generally speaking Apple products are price regulated by Apple making it difficult to find them on sale.

Usually with Apple products the only deals you can find are "bonus item with purchase" such as a gift card or accessory.

"Does Amazon have sales?" ...first thing that came to mind was "Is the Pope Catholic?"

But then I read it is an Apple product....and then it becomes considerably less likely. Won't hurt to wait and see though, unlikely that they would sell out.

I am not sure about advertised *sales* but we just ordered a camera from amazon and following the price was like playing the stock market, it changed daily..maybe even hourly. The price fluctuated over a 3 week time from $165 to $229 and never did I see a low stock message or anything like that. We did ok and got a 169 price...(purchasing as a gift with another family member who couldn't pull the trigger at 165) so now I have learned to follow and sign up for notifications on a specific item. Apple may be an entirely different creature tho. Hope it works out for you that is a nice sum to work with!
