Does a week start on Saturday?

Im planning our trip to Disney world for next December. I see a lot of mention of week trips starting on Saturday. Im assuming that's because most work a mon-fri schedule. Im planning on Tuesday to Monday trip. Any disandvantages to this or problems when booking packages or rooms, etc?

Hiya, I know travelling week-days can be cheaper than week-ends.

No problems at all, as the previous poster suggested - we've often found it cheaper to travel/stay during the week. We almost always travel on a Thursday on this basis. Enjoy the trip!

Yes, I've heard Jet blue has their cheapest flights on Tuesdays. If I remember correctly, booking hotels rooms at WDW, I think Fridays were more expensive than Saturdays. Might be wrong though.

I think both Friday and Saturday are the higher weekend rate but even people going Saturday to Saturday will have a Friday and a Saturday so the room should be the same.

As others have posted, check out the flights. I hear mid week flights like Tues and Wednesday are the cheapest because many people flying for work fly the beginning or end of the week.
