We don’t have Geico. We have AIG, way cheaper than Geico.

GEICO quoted us almost 50% more than what we're paying with AIG (who we've had for years ~ they're great ).
sorry (or maybe happily ) i can't help with the ticket question; have never gotten even a parking ticket in 30+ years ....but you might want to consider getting a quote from AIG in the future.

Have him go to the court date, ask the prosecuter to lower the fine/points - this works at least here in NJ.

We just switched from AIG to Geico and saved $800 a year! Must be different with each individual situation.
