Documents question and transfer issues?

I have a question that could possible take everyone's mind of this hurricane.. I know thats impossible but it was worth a shot...Today my wife called me at work. She said we received our documents today.. I said "Great".. She said NOT so great. Aparantly I bought our DCL transfers from orlando airport to the cruise.. My Agent states that you will recieve luggage tags with your documents.. OK.. She thinks we do have tags becuase she claims she has small tags with our boat name and room number on it.. SO they must be them.. BUT here is the kicker..

Our travel documents state that we do NOT have transfers included with our package!!!!!! I said something must be wrong call the agent.. They claim becuase I bought the transfers so late/close to the date that our paperwork was already done from Disney so they could NOT add the transfers to our docs....Somehow we have luggage tags that shipped with the docs, but no paperwork showing we have transfers?

My agent stated that we could go to the transfers and show them our paperwork and they should have us on thier manifest? Has anyone ever had to do this? Just seems that something could go wrong? I can see us getting there and them saying, Its not on your package, sorry?I have my latest invoice from my travel agent showing the transfers and that they are paid? Maybe bring that with as well just in case?

Can anyone offer me some insight? What should we do? I can't look at the tags myself because I am still at work? Are the luggage tags small? I pray that everything is OK with our stuff? I plan on calling Disney first thing on Monday to speak to a person?

hey spankey,

i would call DCL and ask them what they have in their system and then go from there. it kind of looks like your TA messed up. maybe she charged you for transfers and forgot to get them with your resservation?? ( this is why i book everything myself, that way i know whats going on! )

i think the reason you have luggage tags is because you drop your bags off and they deliver them to your stateroom later in the day.

We added on the transfers after we received our docs, so our docs don't have them included. I did receive a receipt from Disney directly though which shows I paid for them. I called Dcl, and they said they do have a manifest with everyones name on it who paid for the transfers. I am bringing my receipt just in case. The luggage tags should be in your booklet of docs. They're the yellow ones. Hope I helped!

Well-

I don't have the Yellow tags. Just the blue ones that was stated above... This is really upsetting.. I have had NOTHING but problems with this travel agency...

I am calling DISNEY first thing Monday.. I don't need any surprises!!! Thats for sure.... I paid for these over a month ago and I did NOT recieve anything from Disney at all? Receipt wise!!!

Now with only two weeks to sail, This is all I need!!!

Do you think with us sailing on the 19th, that Disney can send us the transfers' and luggage tags in time???

Spankey--your luggage tags have nothing to do with the transfers. They are the standard tags that are included with the cruise document booklet so that your luggage gets to your cabin.

As for the transfers, if your documents were issued before the transfers were added they will not show them, however if you paid for transfers you will be on the manifest.
I would just call to be sure the transfers are on the reservation.

If they are not there for some reason it is very simple to have the DCL transfers added at any time.

We got our Docs today... our luggage tags are blue as well....

and they are right, luggage tags have NOTHING to do w/ transfers,

I did notice in our cruise tix package, there is a coupon to 'add' transfer if you decide at last min to do that...
