Hi everyone.

Going WDW with my family.
What documents what I need for my 2 kids(if any) for our
flight?

Would I need their birth certificate or anything else?
Flying from Chicago to fl.

Unless they are under 2 and flying for free(lap child) you do not need anything for kids. kids under 18 do not need any ID to travel. If they are under 2 AND and flying for free as a lap child then they need their birth certificate.

Kids do not need ID unless free then it is a birth certificate.

Sorry, forgot to add they are 3 & 4 with
paid seating.

So we should be ok without anything for them?

Yes you will be fine. They won't ask for any ID.

Have fun !

Are you sure about this? (hope I don't sound rude - just want to check)

Last year when we flew from Detroit to Orlando our kids (ages 5&7 at the time) both had to show passports at security.

I just took my kids (2 & 4) and we did not need any ID for either of them. We were flying SW to Orlando (where else?).

That is odd. Did you offer the passports, or were you asked for them?

I've flown with my kids about 50 times, and the only time we've used passports is arriving in a foreign country.

Other than that, minors don't need any ID at all. An airline can require proof for a child under 2 not purchasing a seat, but that is all.

I see you are from Ontario. Are you US citizens? If not, maybe that's why.:confused3

If you are American and flying within the US, adults need driver's license or other photo ID, kids need nothing.

We brought birth certificates for both of our kids (2&4) and ended up needing nothing. I was prepared since DD was free at Disney but there were no questions at WDW or the airport.
